The Centre for Natural Healing and Meditation (CNHM) is a spiritual organization registered as a NGO and a Non-Profit Charitable Institution founded by Master Sangeeta and Master Vijay Raghavan in the year 2005. The centre is a volunteer based organisation and is committed to helping and guiding people towards a fuller, richer life, through Energy Healing, Spiritual development and meditation, and community service through awareness programs on spirituality and right livelihood.

Way back in year 2000, Master Sangeeta and Master Vijay Raghavan started their activities in Energy Healing and spiritual development with Reiki under the name of Reiki Natural Healing Centre.

Ever since, they have both been supporting people from all walks of life with love, healing and spiritual wisdom to enrich the quality of their life and well-being. Simple housewives have become good healers and have become stronger emotionally and spiritually. Students who took Reiki started performing far better academically and have become more responsible citizens. They had then produced over 50 Master Teachers of Reiki and Karuna Reiki and over 300 Teachers of Magnified Healing.  Thousands of people have been initiated to Reiki.  

The Reiki Natural Healing Centre soon became a reference in Mauritius for holistic Reiki Healing and creating and spiritually nurturing hundreds of “Reiki families” where every member of a family – from grand parents to grand children – is a Reiki practitioner.

In 2005, in view expanding the activities in the field of Natural Healing and Holistic Health, and offering other healing modalities under the same umbrella, an Association, Centre for Natural Healing and Meditation, was formed with a group of liked minded. The centre is registered as a Non-profit Charitable institution (registered under the provisions of The Registration of Associations Act – Regd No. 8452) and a Non-Governmental Organisation (NCSRF/2019/0056).

All these activities have one single objective which is to support our country and the humanity at large towards accomplishing greater peace, greater love, holistic health and spirituality.

The Management Committee

The centre is a volunteer-based organisation. The above mentioned are overseen by an Executive committee made up as follows: The President, The Vice President, The Secretary, The Assistant Secretary, The Treasurer and The Assistant Treasurer. All major decisions are taken at the Executive Committee level and the Committee ratifies all other operational decisions at General meetings.

An Annual General meeting is also held before the end of March of each year. An independent Auditor audits the Accounts of the Association and a report on the state of the financial affairs is available.

Since year 2011, as a Non Governmental Organization working in the field of Building Social Capital, Support to EAP Programme, Youth and Children Empowerment, Nutrition, Hygiene and Sanitation, Functional Literacy & numeracy skills, promote learning, the Centre for Natural Healing and Meditation qualifies for funding under the CSR initiative.  The CSR Accreditation number is NCSRF/2019/0056.
